Welcome!
Paradiddles
Paradiddles are used often, and can be a great excersize. Paradiddles are a combination of single strokes and double strokes. It is shown like this: RLRRLRLL

There are many types of paradiddles, but this guide will show you the single paradiddle.

When you first do the paradiddle, you will not get the second double out cleanly. To train your muscles, you must do paradiddles for a long amount of time. You can do this with any rudiment. Doing this will help you muscle remember how the movements of your muscles should be done.
